Why Mssn on Campus?

The Muslim Students’ Society of Nigeria (MSSN), Lagos State University of Science and Technology (Lasustech) Branch, is a vibrant Islamic organization committed to nurturing the faith, knowledge, and unity of Muslim students on campus. As part of the largest and most structured Islamic student body in Nigeria, we strive to uphold Islamic values while fostering academic excellence and moral integrity among our members.

At MSSN Lasustech, we believe in the transformative power of faith-based education and unity. Our chapter serves as a supportive platform where Muslim students can strengthen their Islamic knowledge through Qur’anic studies, Tafsir sessions, and enlightening lectures, while also building lifelong bonds of brotherhood and sisterhood. Beyond religious activities, we actively engage in welfare programs, leadership training, and community service projects designed to address the holistic needs of our members.

MSSN Lasustech is the leading Islamic organization serving Muslim students across the university’s campuses in Ikorodu (the main campus), Isolo, and Surulere.

Our vision is to cultivate a generation of Muslim students who embody the beauty of Islam in every aspect of their lives — spiritually upright, intellectually equipped, morally sound, and socially impactful. We envision a campus community where the light of faith shines brightly in the hearts of students, guiding their actions, choices, and ambitions, as they become role models of Islamic excellence both within and beyond the university.

Our mission is to create a nurturing and faith-driven environment where Muslim students can grow holistically — spiritually, academically, and morally. At MSSN LASUSTECH, we are dedicated to instilling a strong sense of Islamic identity, fostering unity and brotherhood, and inspiring a passion for lifelong learning. Through our various programs and initiatives, we aim to empower students with the knowledge, confidence, and leadership skills they need to succeed in this world while remaining firmly connected to the path that leads to the Hereafter.
